Hello I’m Muhammad Sufyan Moavia CTA, FCCA, M.COM, B.COM (Gold Medallist) – Managing Director
Muhammad established IBISS & CO in 2014 after eleven years’ experience in commercial and general accountancy and tax consultancy. This includes five years at Partner level, heading up a tax department of a leading London-based accountancy firm. His main interests lie in income tax, VAT, capital gains and corporation tax, as well as keeping up to date with the ever-evolving UK and international tax legislation and accounting standards.
As IBISS & CO’s Managing Director, Muhammad keeps a steady hand on the tiller, working alongside clients to ensure their financial growth. He has a broad knowledge base and has advised many small corporations on such topics as R & D tax credits, capital allowances, income shifting, profit extraction strategies, succession planning and entrepreneur relief. He has worked with a number of large corporations too, on tax matters such as roll over relief, group relief and group gains relief.
Asim Hussain
ACCA, M.COM, B.COM, OCP
Practice Manager – Essex
Asim joined IBISS & CO in 2014, bringing with him ten years’ experience in the accountancy world and five years in public practice. Asim heads up the firm’s accountancy team, dealing with clients, staff management and practice compliance. His key skills lie in financial planning, devising strategies to raise investment and maximise profits for start-up companies and growing businesses.
Asim’s specialist interests include ensuring adherence to UK GAAP’s international accounting standards for larger corporations and FRSSE’s standards for small and medium enterprises. He is also an expert in compliance with the Companies Act and HMRC rules. This has enabled him to gain extensive experience in diverse industries, from telecoms and transportation to healthcare and fashion.
Ian Spencer
Ian is an ex-HMRC VAT Inspector. Ian has over 30 years VAT experience in particular the VAT saving for Land & Buildings transactions, for investors, developers, dealers and contractors.
Ken Moody
Sean Palmer
Sean is an ex-Inspector of Taxes. Sean has over 25 years experience in dealing with serious tax fraud COP 8 and 9 cases. Which include property based clients working on both sides of the tax industry provides perspective when dealing with property tax matters.
Maurice Ede
Maurice, the founder of 4M Accountancy (now part of IBISS & CO) is a seasoned consultant for small and medium sized businesses. Specialising in tax, trusts and business development. He guides a diverse clientele including a wider team of IBISS & CO. Maurice’s extensive experience makes him a trusted advisor for entrepreneurs navigating their ventures.
Susy Macrae
Susy has worked in accounting for 30+ years specialising with owner-managed businesses. She has extensive accounting experience as well as detailed technical knowledge.Now as part of the IBISS & Co, Susy continues to play a key role in enhancing accounting and management procedures for small businesses.
Tamara Spencer
Before starting 4M Accountancy (part of IBISS & Co) in 2004 with Maurice and Susy, Tamara worked in media as a financial controller. Her experience gave her insight into finance issues. At 4M, she wanted to provide a different service, combining compliance work with hands-on assistance. Tamara excels in building client relationships and is valued for helping startups.
Excitingly Tamara and 4M Accountancy have now become integral part of the IBISS & Co family. Joining forces to enhance their collective expertise and provide even greater value to clients.
Shabeer Yousuf
Shabeer Yousuf is a Chartered Tax Adviser and holds a Bachelor of Law degree with over 19 years in tax planning, HNWIs and Trusts. His career highlights include working as a CTA and Senior Tax Planning Manager with the Big 4 accountancy firms,including Ernst & Young and KPMG. He has also worked in a key position at PKF.
Shabeer strives to offer practical solutions for even the most complex tax problems. He is known for genuinely caring about his clients and ensuring each one of them receives true value for his money.

Imran Yousaf
Imran has broad financial, strategic and international experience gained across a number of large multinational organisations. Prior to joining Ibiss & Co Imran has had exposure to a variety of senior executive roles managing a portfolio to the extent of over £2bn’s and over 10,000 team members. Imran has won many awards in his career including Top 10 BAME inspirational leader UK in 2021. As a leader Imran casts a clear and concise vision by inspiring innovation, taking risks and building collaborative approaches with his team and clients. Imran expertise lies in helping clients in problem-solving situations to identify the risks and change them into their business strengths. Imran aims to join IBISS & Co is to help establish a firm brand to serve clients nationwide with our expertise. Imran is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants, Public Accountants, Financial Accountants and Financial Tax Advisors.
Sunil Yaqoob
ACCA, B.Com (IT)
(Practice Manager- London SW17)
Sunil qualified ACCA in 2012 and has been working in public practice for over 10 years, dealing with small and medium sized businesses. He has a deep knowledge and understanding in FRS102 and FRS105, Accounting, Corporation Tax, VAT, Payroll, and Pension compliance.
He closely work with Solicitors (SRA Compliance), Estate Agents, Construction, IT and Hospitality sector.
He actively participates in German Shepherds sport and one of his dogs (Royal) has won second position in the World Championship 2021.
JEFF MEERS
Specialists in Wills, Trusts, Probate, Lasting Power of Attorney
Jeff focuses his time on helping people who are in need of Wills, Trust, Lasting Power of Attorney and Funeral Plans.
He can help you plan your estate and ensure your Will caters for your needs and in particular will advise you on the new Inheritance Tax laws that started in April 2017. Particularly the new Residence NIL Rate Band. With years of experience in the field, Jeff has the breadth and depth of knowledge needed to understand your needs and to recommend the most suitable solutions.
Jeff was born and bred in London and now lives in Putney. He enjoys watching cricket, rugby and hockey. He occasionally finds time to paint!
