Most of us are used to seeing tax experts on television around the time of the annual Budget announcements; but have you ever wished you could find a programme offering tax advice that is relevant to day-to-day life as well as business issues? If so, look no further: chartered tax advisor Muhammad Sufyan and Asim Hussain from IBISS & Co will soon be appearing on a screen near you!
It is our pleasure to announce the addition of Muhammad Sufyan, managing director of IBISS & Co and chartered accountant and tax advisor, and Asim Hussain, practice manager, to the regular line-up on Islam Channel Urdu. It’s the team’s first foray into television – a nerve-racking yet rewarding experience! – and we’re thrilled to be able to make tax and tax advice more accessible to the general public.
This television channel – which can be found on Sky 766 – offers an innovative range of programmes to the Muslim community, including current affairs, documentaries, lifestyle shows and entertainment. A quality, family-orientated channel, Islam Channel Urdu brings a fresh approach to the content on offer to the local community, grappling with critical thinking and current issues. IBISS & Co are proud of our diverse customer base; and, with the UK now being home to the largest Urdu-speaking community in Europe (over 1.17 million), are delighted to be able to support this inventive, forward-thinking channel. We’re also very pleased to be able to give potential customers the chance to receive some free tax advice, as well as getting the opportunity to learn a little more about Muhammad Sufyan and Asim Hussain, two of our most experienced tax experts, by tuning into the show.
Muhammad founded IBISS & Co in 2014 after working in-house for several prestigious London firms (including at partner level). With over fifteen years’ experience in commercial/general accountancy and tax consultancy, and a keen interest in income tax, VAT, and international tax legislation, Muhammad is not only a chartered accountant but also a chartered tax advisor, and is well-equipped to advise all businesses on range of complex tax matters. He is joined on the programme by chartered accountant Asim Hussain, who specialises in compliance, devising investment and profit extraction strategies, and financial planning.
Appearing every Tuesday night over the next few months, these experienced members of the IBISS & Co team will provide tax advice, discuss a number of important tax topics – from capital gains to income tax – and also answer your questions live on air. The programme will be broadcast in Urdu, and we hope that many of our clients will be able to listen, watch, enjoy – and phone in with their questions!
